"I was honored to serve as President of the AEDA Board of Directors this past year. 2021 was a year in which we saw many continued stresses and challenges for Arvada businesses due to the pandemic and other tragedies, but I am very proud of the support AEDA provided in alignment with our mission and the positive outcomes and impact to our community. Namely, AEDA focused heavily on retention of existing businesses as well as targeted support for new commercial projects, but it was AEDA's investment into strategic partnerships that really stands out. AEDA's collaboration with the Arvada Resiliency Taskforce and other strategic partners proved invaluable as businesses of all sizes and across all industries continued to thrive in the face of adversity.
