2020 Annual Report - Arvada Economic Development Association

2020

Annual Report

"It was an honor for me to serve as President of AEDA in 2020. Particularly since it was such a challenging year for Arvada businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the Arvada business community felt the negative impact, AEDA in partnership with other organizations was able to quickly develop highly effective programs and deliver critical support in a time of need. We understand how important the businesses are to the health of our community and will continue to provide the services that enable them to bounce back. Much of the strength of the AEDA organization comes from the community leaders that volunteer and serve, including your 2021 President, Alicia Svaldi of Faustson Tool. Welcome Alicia!"

AEDA's Annual Strategic Plan

Each year the AEDA Board of Directors adopts an Annual Strategic Plan in alignment with a larger six-year Strategic Plan. This information allows staff to "tell the story" of how the results of AEDA's efforts support its mission. Additionally, in 2020 AEDA contributed significant resources to business support and economic recovery throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Highlights from AEDA's 2020 Strategic Plan and business support activity are outlined below.
