The Arvada Economic Development Association works closely with the Arvada Police Department and other partners to address the safety and security concerns of the business community. We’ve compiled a list of important resources to help protect your business. Please reach out to us anytime if we can assist your business with crime prevention efforts or help you connect with your sector Commander. 

For emergencies, including crimes in progress and issues of life and death, call or text 911. 

The non-emergency police dispatch line is 303-980-7300 or you can file a police report online on the Arvada Police Department website. 

Arvada Police Department 4P Program

This program, available to business property owners and tenants with property owner approval, allows for the Arvada Police Department to enforce trespassing laws on your property without you being present. Please fill out the 4P sign-up form and return it to us at [email protected].

Crime Prevention for Your Business Class

Join the Arvada Police Department and the Arvada Economic Development Association for a free crime prevention class designed to help you protect your business. Topics include current crime trends in Arvada, how to safeguard your business, yourself, and your employees, and police response procedures. In-person classes can be arranged upon request, or view the recorded version.

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is an approach that considers the natural and built environment and how it may promote or deter criminal activity. The Arvada Police Department can conduct a CPTED assessment of your site upon request you can also use the checklist below, provided by the Arvada Police Department, to conduct your own assessment.
