Financial Assistance

The Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA) facilitates business growth by offering a variety of financial assistance and tax credits for businesses in targeted industries. These programs allow businesses to start, expand, renovate, or relocate in Arvada. AEDA can also steer businesses to County, State, and other organizations that offer assistance. Review the listed AEDA programs, if you need additional assistance or would like to learn about county or state incentives, contact AEDA staff directly at 720.898.7010 or [email protected].

AEDA Exterior Improvement Grant

AEDA created the Exterior Improvement Grant program to support businesses and/or property owners that are making capital improvements to the exterior of their property, which in turn improves the Arvada community. The 50/50 matching grant program leverages AEDA funds and private sector investment to enhance commercial properties in Arvada.

AEDA Economic Impact Fund

In order to maintain flexibility, the AEDA Economic Impact Fund exists to provide financial assistance for special projects on a case-by-case basis. While this program does not have specific project qualifications, match funding requirements or funding limits, applications are heavily scrutinized to ensure public benefit and that the scope of the project is in alignment with AEDA’s economic development mission.

ARVADA COMMUNITY LOAN FUND

In partnership with the Colorado Enterprise Fund, AEDA has created the Arvada Community Loan Fund. Additionally, AEDA can assist businesses in understanding a breadth of programs that can support their capital needs.
