State and Local Government Procurement Expo
The Colorado Minority Business Office (MBO), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), has partnered again with the State Purchasing & Contracts Office, a division of the Colorado Department of Personnel & Administration; the Colorado Department of Transportation; and Connect2DOT program to present the 8th annual Advance Colorado Procurement Expo on April 18, at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel, 3801 Quebec St. in Denver from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
New this year, the Expo will feature a keynote lunch speaker and two panel sessions featuring experts from the buyer and seller perspectives. Keynote speaker, Curt Decapite, will present “Insider Tips to Local Government Purchasing.”
Seller exhibitors will also be able to attend one-on-one sessions with government agency procurement leaders regarding contracting opportunities this year. In addition, all attendees are invited to a closing reception from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm for additional networking opportunities.Historically, the Expo attracts over 600 participants. Small businesses including businesses owned by minorities, women and veterans are encouraged to participate. There is no charge to attend and parking is free. Registration is strongly encouraged.
