Advance Arvada (Land Development Code) Next Steps – Remapping – Open House on 12/19
Connecting Code to Vision and Values
The City of Arvada is updating its Land Development Code (LDC), which are the regulations that govern development in the City. The LDC affects all development and helps shape where you live, where you work and where you play. The current LDC was approved in 2008 and while there have been updates, it has become out-of-date. A review of current issues is needed to make sure the LDC provides the best zoning and land use approaches for the future of Arvada.
The LDC establishes zone districts for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial land use classifications which are shown on the City’s zoning map. The zoning map will be updated to implement the new zone districts identified in the proposed LDC.
Next Open House
The next open house regarding the remapping (or zoning of all parcels) of the City to the new zoning districts identified in the draft LDC is scheduled for December 19, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Atrium at Arvada City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road.
Please join us anytime at the Open House to provide your feedback, there is no formal presentation.
