Daniel Ryley earns Economic Developer Certification
Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA) is pleased to announce that Executive Director, Daniel Ryley, has recently earned the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The CEcD is the leading industry designation for economic development professionals, and affirms a mastery of skills across the breadth of topics necessary to being a well-rounded and successful economic developer.
In addition to the Certification of its Executive Director, AEDA, as an organization, is also fully accredited by the IEDC, making it the only organization in the State of Colorado to have the distinction of both. “Daniel has worked incredibly hard to not only pass the CEcD exam, but also to be a leader of our economic development efforts for the community,” said Ryan Stachelski, Director of Community and Economic Development for the City of Arvada. “Arvada economic development efforts are in great hands behind Daniel and his team.”
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization serving economic developers. With more than 5,000 members, IEDC is the largest organization of its kind. Economic developers promote economic well-being and quality of life for their communities, by creating, retaining and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth and provide a stable tax base.
